Business Council visited the branch of Asharqia Chamber on Sunday morning, March 19, 2017 in the main headquarters of the Chamber in Dammam as it viewed the main activities and events in
addition to the initiatives.
The
Secretary General of the Chamber Abdulrahman bin Abdullah A Wabel said that
the council, which is headed by Mishari bin Murshid Al Aqili has listened to an
explanation about the programs and services offered by the Chamber and the
mechanism of its work and future plans and achievements and its role in serving
the national economy and encouraging investment, as well as its role in the
small and medium institutions development center.
Al Wabel said that the council listened to
a presentation by the Small and Medium institution
Development Center on major initiatives that provide for the qualifying and support of this vital sector, as
those services are offered to pioneers and
beginners benefiting by the center in the branches of the Chamber in all provinces, in different areas
of the business sector, as well as
Dr. Ghazi Al Gosaibi award offered every two years to the best and promising institution, which supports the development of
these enterprises and enhance their competitiveness.
The
Business Council has toured the departments and centers and headquarters as the members viewed the
mechanism of the work, and how to accomplish everyday tasks, also reviewed the
global technical programs it manages its operations, whether locally or
internationally.
For
his part, head of the Council Al Aqili
said that the Chamber is one of the leading Chambers in the
Kingdom and occupies an advanced level on the Gulf and the Arab world, pointing
to the awards and certificates and still
achieving in different fields.
Aqili
said that the visit aims to identify the mechanisms of action and systematic
planning that is known about the Chamber during the execution of events,
initiatives and events, whether small or big.
Aqili
noted that the Chamber is always in the front with ideas in the systematic institutional
work and in the completion of its activities, in addition to the continued support
for the business sector in the region by it, stressing that the Chamber branch in Jubail has this support.
Al
Aqili said that the Council viewed the
achievements of the social responsibility in the center of the Chamber and the
main initiatives that have contributed to the advancement of
institutional work in the community in the eastern region, in addition to the
most important exhibitions that support productive families which is Sanati, an exhibition held by Chamber every
year.
